Anyone interested in criminal justice projects?

I am looking to talk to people interested in creating apps in the domain of criminal justice. I would love to hear new ideas, but just to give a few examples :
* Today police officers have to manually enter a vehicle's license plate number to check if the vehicle is stolen. Police cars also come with a dash cam video camera. What if the camera automatically does a record check on the license plate # it records and alerts the officer when it finds a stolen vehicle?
